After that he had a chance to do a large important principal role on the Calgary filmed series Tom Stone for CBC. Then a role on the Edmonton filmed comedy Whitecoats, and a role on the Calgary filmed Matter of Family for CBS. He appeared with his real life wife Shirley, both in Actor roles, on the Feature Santa's Slay shot in Edmonton, and an actor role on the Feature Comeback Season in Calgary. Then came another chance for an important principal role on the Lifetime Movie Angels Fall, followed by a Principal role on the Feature Comedy Freezer Burn shot in Edmonton. After that came a role in a flashback scene as the grandfather of one of the main characters Jack, on the Calgary series Heartland.
